Cantonese Opera Home Page
Streaming webcast of Cantonese opera. Yuck. I'm not sure if they play different songs everyday or if they just loop the same playlist over and over...I've never been interested enough, or drunk enough to sit through the screeching to find out. But my dad likes it. The site also talks about the history and some of the famous actors of Cantonese Opera. Site is in Chinese and English.
*hint - To save time, instead of going to the stations' site everytime you want to hear a broadcast, just take the small streaming audio file that is automatically downloaded to your computer cache or download folder when you log on, and put that file on your desktop for easy access. I did this for my parents, and even though they barely know how to turn a computer on, they now listen to these stations all the time simply by double clicking the desktop icons.
